Your name, email address, mobile number, and date of birth are collected when you create an account. This information is used to verify your identity and keep your account secure. It is also required for KYC verification in compliance with applicable laws in Bangladesh. We never store your password — only an encrypted hash is kept. Your information is never sold to any third party.
When you use the edx website or mobile platform, your device type, operating system, browser version, and IP address are automatically logged. This information is used to ensure platform security and to detect fraudulent activity. Session cookies are used to maintain your login state and are deleted when the browser is closed. We do not use any third-party tracking scripts.
Required payment information is collected during deposits and withdrawals, such as mobile banking numbers (bKash, Nagad, etc.). Full card numbers or bank account details are not stored on our servers. All financial transactions are secured via SSL encryption. You can log in to your account at any time to view all information we have stored about you. Upon a data access request, we are obligated to provide the complete information within 30 business days. This process is completely free and can be done at any time. There is also an option to have a digital copy of your information sent by email.
If there are any errors in your stored information, you can request a correction. Your name, email, and mobile number can be updated directly from your account settings. Corrections to KYC-related information may require assistance from the support team. We will take the necessary steps within 15 business days of receiving a correction request.
You can request that your account and associated data be deleted at any time. However, certain financial records must be retained for a specified period due to legal obligations. If you request account closure, any active balance must be withdrawn first. Once the data deletion process is complete, a confirmation will be sent to you by email.
You can stop receiving promotional emails or SMS at any time. This can easily be managed from the notifications section in your account settings. Even if you opt out of marketing communications, important account-related messages will continue to be sent. Your preference changes will take effect within 48 hours.
